This page is dedicated to special people in the life of our school. These are people who have contributed and supported Ngunguru School and our students through the years in a way that deserves special recognition.
Berryl Turner was a teacher at Ngunguru School with a huge love for literacy and our students. Even after her teaching employment finished Berryl returned to us in a Librarian and special volunteer capacity. There are many students on the coast that are able to read this due to this remarkable lady.
Rob Allen was on the first Board of Trustees at Ngunguru School and went on to become the 'best caretaker ever'. Robs passion and enthusiasm for the development of our students was legendary and his involvement in the lives of our students was a special part of Rob's time with us here at Ngunguru. Rob was to be found EVERY play and lunchtime working his magic through sport and touching the hearts of every child at our school.
Dive! Tutukaka has been a very special supporter of our school over the past 7 years. Dive! Tutukaka has helped develop the aquatic relationship our students enjoy here at Ngunguru through; our special Watrsports day, snokelling programmes with our year 5&6s, and through the amazing youth scuba course that all of our senior students go through at the Poor Knights Islands. This is certainly the highlight and a very special experience that Dive! Tutukaka supports so generously and one our students will remember for ever.
