Local Curriculum Initiatives

Our local curriculum contains programme initiatives developed by the school. It aims to promote further education opportunities for our pupils and is sustained through our own funding.

Information and Communication (ICT) studies are available throughout the school. This is a feature of our school and we currently enjoy a ‘Site-School’ status with Renaissance Industries. Of particular note is our renown EarthEd programme. This runs from Year’s 1-8 and installs in our students the essential skills and knowledge to be kaitiaki (guardians) of our unique aquatic and bush environment.

Year 4, 5,6,7 & 8 pupils participate in:

  • School Camps

  • Regional School Sports Days

  • Science Fair

  • Snorkel and Scuba Dive Experiences
