Production :
Production will be held in Week 10 of this term. Our focus as a school is on Mythical beasts and each child from Kahu 10 will have a part to play. We will need parent help with practices, costumes and props. More information will be coming home shortly about this.
Home Learning :
Home learning this year will be set on a Monday (due to Tech on Tuesdays) and returned to school the following Monday. It will consist of maths work being covered in class, spelling words for the week entered into their little spelling notebook. Your child will have access to spelling city to work on their words after school. A small project or a focus on habits of mind - how we learn. Mathletics will also be available to all children to work on at home at their own pace.
Seesaw :
You should have received your QR code that will allow you to view what your child is doing in class and have access to their folder of work. Feel free to write comments to your child letting them know how they are going with their work and what you are impressed with. You may also leave a voice message on their work for them to listen to later - you child will be able to help with this if you get stuck.
